MODULAR, EXPANDABLE AND FLEXIBLE SYSTEM CONTROL
enteliBUS is a powerful, fully programmable BACnet controller platform with modular expandable I/O.
It can connect multiple network segments, reducing troubleshooting downtime and allowing the central system to be managed from one controller.
Hot-swappable I/O modules support quick installation and replacement. Manual Auto/On/Off switches help protect equipment against short cycling and simplify troubleshooting.
enteliBUS can also be used as a BACnet router or to connect multiple network segments.

FAQ
When should enteliBUS be chosen instead of a more compact controller?
The choice depends on the overall system architecture, the number and type of I/O to be managed, the protocols to be integrated and the required level of programming, so we always recommend a preliminary technical assessment. However, enteliBUS is strategically advantageous where there is a high concentration of inputs/outputs (I/O) at a single central point. It is also an ideal solution when a single automation and control panel is designed to manage multiple systems: in this scenario, the modular nature of enteliBUS provides precise, orderly and flexible assignment of the various I/O to their respective systems.
Can the module configuration be expanded over time?
Yes. enteliBUS is specifically designed to provide a high level of scalability over time. Its hardware architecture makes it possible to start with a basic configuration with only a few I/O and expand it easily at any time as the building’s requirements evolve. The system can manage up to 500 I/O per individual automation controller, making the investment scalable over time.
What checks are required before installation in an existing system?
Before carrying out a retrofit, it is essential to assess the existing project and installation carefully. The key activity is a complete reverse-engineering exercise on the original I/O and process logic, so they can be mapped accurately and aligned with the technology of the new controllers supplied by Data Controls. One of the main benefits of this technical assessment is the ability to reuse existing wiring, significantly reducing costs, time and installation complexity.
