O3 SENSE

O3 Sense is a stand-alone configurable multisensor designed for ceiling installation and integration with touchless apps already used by occupants.

No internet connection is required: it connects wirelessly to a smartphone for simple, immediate control of lighting, fresh-air supply and temperature.

O3 EDGE

O3 Edge is an integration hub with two universal I/O points. It is fully programmable and capable of controlling an entire room.

By combining temperature, humidity, motion, sound and light sensing in a single device, it uses machine learning to provide fast and accurate feedback on the monitored environment.

CONFIGURATIONS AND FEATURES

A better room-control experience

Advanced temperature sensing allows O3 to create a more comfortable environment for room occupants. It reacts rapidly to both temperature changes and occupancy.

Elegant, discreet design: installed on the ceiling, O3 blends into the room without becoming visually intrusive.

Advanced technology: seven integrated sensors and Sensor Fusion improve occupancy detection and temperature measurement, enabling smarter space management.

Intelligent energy savings: when occupants leave a room, O3 can quickly switch off lighting and adjust heating and ventilation to reduce energy use and waste.

Fast, simple configuration

O3 can be configured directly from a smartphone without additional devices.

Wireless configuration is available through the Proviso app and does not require an internet connection.

FAQ

The choice between O3 Sense and O3 Edge depends on the desired network architecture and the project’s specific control requirements. O3 Edge is the ideal solution when a true hardware integration hub is required: because it is fully programmable and equipped with universal I/O, it can independently manage the automation of an entire room. O3 Sense, on the other hand, is ideal when a powerful stand-alone multisensor is needed, focused on accurately detecting environmental parameters and sending data to lighting, fresh-air and temperature-control logic without directly controlling other physical devices.

Ceiling installation, combined with the discreet design of O3 devices, is particularly effective in spaces where a clear reading of the environment is essential to ensure maximum comfort. It is well suited to offices, classrooms, meeting rooms, auditoriums and hospital rooms. In these environments, ceiling placement allows the device to detect occupancy and microclimate changes very quickly, without interference from furniture or people passing close by.

Before installation, it is essential to confirm that ceiling mounting is technically feasible. Adequate space for cable routing should be checked, together with the absence of structural obstacles, such as beams or other services, close to the selected installation points, as these may affect readings. Ceiling height is another critical factor and should be assessed carefully to ensure the sensor has an optimal coverage cone and can provide accurate, reliable measurements.
